Another 6 inches of snow today! Slow and steady is winning the race this March. My humble woodpile, which I realize is “cute” by any standard, is still lasting and comforting for me. To the left, is our chicken coop that will be full of chickens after the snow melts. I’m happy to wait. Part of the nasty wire fencing in the distance, which brings my wife some embarrassment, is from a particularly satisfying day of deconstructing our box spring in early January. There was barely any snow that day, other than ice, and it was a good outlet to my winter doldrums at the time. As fun as tearing a box spring apart is, I think I’m happier to be skiing now.
